DESCRIPTION
Bhalil is famous for its cave dwellings located in the oldest part of the village, the caves had a practical function as they stay cool in the heat of summer and prevent the worst of cold in winter in the mountains, it is also famous for its traditional bread ovens as well as the production of olive oil.
Sefrou was originally a Jewish colony, until the arrival of Islam in the 8th century, Due to its geographical position, it is an excellent region for agriculture, rich in vegetation and each June hosts a cherry festival, it has been designated a UNESCO intangible heritage site.
